OXYGY is proud to celebrate an outstanding achievement by our colleagues Joseph Thomas and Marisha Boyd, who have been named the EMEA Regional Winners of the Google for Startups AI Agents Challenge 2026 with their project Synapse. The competition attracted more than 1,400 submissions from around the world, recognizing some of the most innovative applications of AI agents.
Synapse addresses one of today’s biggest challenges in AI: memory. While most AI agents start every interaction without context, Synapse provides a shared, structured knowledge graph that allows AI agents to access and connect information from meetings, documents, notes, and other knowledge sources. The result is a persistent memory layer that helps AI agents become more effective thinking partners rather than isolated assistants.
Google recognized Synapse as the EMEA Regional Winner, highlighting its innovative approach to enabling stateless AI agents with continuous access to historical knowledge and decisions.
Congratulations to Joseph and Marisha on this well-deserved recognition. Their achievement reflects the curiosity, technical excellence, and innovative mindset we value at OXYGY, and we are delighted to celebrate their success.
