We are looking to award a highly motivated, responsive, and emotionally intelligent student and/or professional for a six-month Internship in the OXYGY UK team.

In this role, you will be part of the generation and implementation of transformational business solutions together with clients who believe deeply in the power of their people. Prepare to work directly on client projects, throughout UK and the rest of Europe.

This internship is an opportunity for both large-scale business impact and continuous learning side-by-side with an experienced team of curious, collaborative, and authentic management consultants.

This is a full-time internship which runs for 24-weeks. Successful completion of the internship also opens the door to the award of a full-time Business Analyst position at OXYGY.

Role Description

An Intern at OXYGY must be a self-starter, creative, detail-oriented, a team-player, a strong communicator, and have a great interest in achieving excellence in managing projects and tasks with limited supervision.

The Intern role may include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Support client projects by developing materials, such as presentations, virtual or in-person workshop activities, documents, and communications
  • Manage internal projects, such as the development of new systems, processes, or tools
  • Analyse and present data, including client and project metrics, feedback surveys, and internal talent activity
  • Manage the operational side of virtual and in-person events, such as workshops, team meetings, and client engagement activities
  • Support in-person and virtual meeting facilitation through mastery of tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Miro, and Mentimeter
  • Maintain systems and tools for keeping track of client engagements, ongoing projects, talent capabilities and availability
  • Participate in MY OXYGY a structured learning & development programme focused on equipping junior consultants across OXYGY’s global offices with the foundational consulting skills in an engaging, interactive and practical manner.

Qualifications

  • A strong desire to learn the management consulting profession and pursue a long-term career in consulting
  • A strong demonstrated academic record (e.g., 2:1 equivalent or higher)
  • Understanding of various industry business models and key dynamics underpinning them
  • Good aptitude for and/or experience with project management
  • Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods and techniques
  • Ability to efficiently summarize and present information in simple, engaging, visual, and creative ways
  • Good aptitude of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database skills)
  • Experience working with generative AI tools (Chat GPT, Co-Pilot, Hugging Face, etc.)
  • Superior communication skills, including in presenting, writing, and data visualization
  • A high degree of intensity, follow-through, and collegiality
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and leverage them in creative ways to meet project needs
  • Multilingual candidates with working proficiency in French, Spanish and/or another language are a plus.
